The purpose of this page is to provide information on Contracting Events that might be of interest to clients of Angelina College Procurement Assistance Center. The events listed are usually being organized by other Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) or federal and state government agencies. Unlike commercial events, the cost to participate are usually free or minimum charges to cover the cost of the event or meals.
At the end of this page we list different online training that is available to anyone. In most cases, it is free.

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Small Business Briefings
This site provides information on TxDOT briefings around the state for small and minority-owned businesses providing contract opportunities and information on how to do business with TxDOT and with the State of Texas. The briefings will provide General Industry Sessions to include specific information on how to do business in the construction, goods & services, information technology and professional engineering service industries. Breakout Sessions will be conducted covering small and minority-owned business certifications, resources for small business development, business marketing for state contracts as well as information on TxDOT toll projects. Each briefing will also include a Contracting Opportunities Showcase, an Industry Networking Session and a Reception.

Learn How to do Business with Defense Logistics Agency's Supply Centers. Includes how to work with DLA Supply Centers, DLA Purchasing Procedures, Finding procurement Opportunities on bid board, Small Business and Other Set-Aside Rules, Packaging and Radio Frequency ID, Getting Paid for Federal Contracts (using WAWF), etc.
This website is hosted by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) and provides a schedule of various EOFs held throughout the state. These EOFs are sponsored by state and local government agencies, as well as minority/women development centers and trade organizations.
NIDA provides a listing of various Defense related conferences, which they take an active part in as providing the Exhibitor coordination.
