The purpose of this page is to provide information on Contracting Events that might be of interest to clients of Angelina College Procurement Assistance Center. The events listed are usually being organized by other Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) or federal and state government agencies. Unlike commercial events, the cost to participate are usually free or minimum charges to cover the cost of the event or meals.
At the end of this page we list different online training that is available to anyone. In most cases, it is free.
If other agencies are interested in adding their event information, please contact ACPAC with the information and web links.

This site provides information on TxDOT briefings around the state for small and minority-owned businesses providing contract opportunities and information on how to do business with TxDOT and with the State of Texas. The briefings will provide General Industry Sessions to include specific information on how to do business in the construction, goods & services, information technology and professional engineering service industries. Breakout Sessions will be conducted covering small and minority-owned business certifications, resources for small business development, business marketing for state contracts as well as information on TxDOT toll projects. The Small Business Training Network (SBTN) is a virtual campus offering online courses, publications, and other forms of technical assistance. Courses are self-paced and take about 30 minutes to complete.
